KYC and AML Verification

To participate in the ABAMA Token investment program, all investors must complete a secure, compliant Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) verification process. This ensures regulatory compliance and protects the security and legitimacy of the fund.

Below is an overview of the multi-step onboarding process:

🔹 Step 1: Identity Verification

In this first step, you will confirm your identity by submitting basic personal information.

This helps us meet regulatory requirements and ensure only qualified investors access the offering.

You will be asked to:

Fill in your full name, date of birth, and country of residence
Confirm your citizenship and residency status
Upload a live photo (selfie) for facial verification

Purpose: This step helps us confirm that you are a real individual and that your identity matches the documents you will submit in Step 2.

🔹 Step 2: Submit Documents

Once your identity is confirmed, you’ll be prompted to upload verification documents.

Required Documents:

Government-Issued ID
- Valid Passport OR National ID card (front and back)
Proof of Address
- Utility bill, bank statement, or tax letter (not older than 90 days)

Document Guidelines:

Documents must be clear, high-resolution scans or photographs
Your name and issue date must be clearly visible
Uploaded files must be in JPG, PNG, or PDF format

🔹 Step 3: AML Questionnaire

This final step is part of our Anti-Money Laundering compliance. You will be asked to answer a brief questionnaire regarding:

Source of funds (e.g., employment, business income, investments, inheritance)
Estimated annual income and net worth
Country of tax residence
Whether you are a Politically Exposed Person (PEP)
Confirmation of legal authority to invest

Note: All data is encrypted, securely stored, and never shared with third parties outside of compliance partners.

Once all three steps are completed and verified, you will receive a confirmation email and gain access to the investment portal to proceed with your ABAMA Token allocation.
